Yantai Intercontinental Marine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was formerly known as Qingdao Intercontinental Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. Haiyang Seaweed Branch, and is affiliated to Qingdao Intercontinental Chemical Industry Corporation. Yantai Intercontinental Marine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in 2005 in Xingcun Town, Haiyang City, covering an area of 500,000 square meters, with total assets of 90 million yuan, an annual output of more than 4,000 tons, and an annual output value of more than 100 million yuan. The company passed the management system certification earlier than other domestic peers, and can provide various internationally recognized quality management certifications, such as: HACCP, BRC, KOSHER, HALAL certification, etc.
The company's business scope is mainly to use a variety of natural marine brown algae as raw materials, deep processing, and produce alginate and other products: industrial grade sodium alginate, printing paste, food grade sodium alginate and propylene glycol alginate. All the company's products are produced in strict accordance with the national standard GB1886.243-2016. The sodium alginate products produced by the company have a wide range of uses in the printing and dyeing industry, food industry, pharmaceutical industry, welding and other fields: the products are sold well in more than 30 provinces, cities, autonomous regions in China and exported to more than 20 countries and regions abroad. In order to meet the development direction of the company, the company invested more than 10 million yuan in 2015 to build a domestically suitable fully automated alginate propylene glycol ester production line, and the annual output value reached the forefront of the country.
The company currently has three production lines, namely industrial-grade sodium alginate, food-grade sodium alginate, and alginate propylene glycol ester production lines. In order to achieve the company's long-term development goals and accumulate scientific research strength, it is equipped with a municipal-level science and technology research and development center, a sodium alginate laboratory, and a printing and dyeing engineering research and development room to provide the company with continuous scientific research strength, so that the company's long-term development has been firmly guaranteed.
