About us

Plant Lipids is one of the largest producers of spice oils and extracts in the world. Since the commencement of operations in 1979, our passion and philosophy has helped us to provide an unrivalled range of products and services that are innovative yet affordable. For over 40years, Plant Lipids manufactures and exports a wide range of products which includes Oleoresins, Essential Oils, Food colours, Specialty Extracts, Health & Wellness, and Functional ingredients, Seasoning Blends, Ground spices as well as Fragrance ingredients to over 85 countries worldwide in a sustainable and traceable way.

Our headquarters is strategically located in the spice-growing foothills of Southern India. Plant Lipids has 16 processing plants across 3 Indian states and Sri Lanka. By combining the goodness of naturals and state-of-the-art manufacturing hubs spread across geographies, Plant Lipids processes over 350 MT of the finest raw material spices mostly sourced directly from growing areas. A range of over 500 products catering to the needs of food flavouring, dairy, confectionery, beverages, bakery, snacks, processed foods, perfumery, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical industry has helped us build a formidable presence globally.

Our manufacturing facilities comply with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, Spice House certification, Kosher, Halal etc. The state-of-the-art lab is accredited by NABL (ISO 17025:2017).
