Amaize® red is an anthocyanin color from purple corn that is grown in North America. It is gently extracted using water, resulting in a simple label and is a cost-effective anthocyanin option that has transparency all the way back to the farmer. Amaize® is great for red shades in beverages, confections, fruit preps, and frozen novelties. As the pH of the application increases, the hue shifts toward purple tones. Certified Organic liquid and powder Amaize® are available.
