Bioassimil™-Se is a completely natural ingredient (no carrier) rich in selenium metabolized by microalgae (cyanobacteria) during our France-based cultivation process.

Bioassimil™-Se has undergone numerous scientific studies conducted by Phyco-Biotech in partnership with the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research (Inserm) and the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS).

The cyanobacterium Arthrospira platensis is used as a natural vector for the biological transformation of selenium into an organic form. The microalgae-processed selenium found in Bioassimil™-Se is incorporated into proteins as a specific amino acid – selenomethionine – as well as into a number of other active selenium-containing molecules. Thanks to this distinctive characteristic, Bioassimil™-Se has a wide range of health benefits.
