A Biorigin story

For over 20 years, Biorigin has been on a mission to transform how we feed the world. Founded in Brazil and operating globally, the company is dedicated to creating yeasts and derivatives from natural sources to promote the development of more nutritious and healthy foods that meet the demands of vegetarian and healthy diets, such as via reducing sodium, sugar, and fat.

Since its foundation, Biorigin has made an unwavering commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment. For the eighth consecutive year, Biorigin has also been recognised with the Gold Seal in the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program.

At each stage of the production process, from selecting sugarcane supplied by Zilor to the final product, we are dedicated to traceability, sustainability, and quality. This dedication is reflected in using electrical and thermal energy (steam) derived 100% from renewable sources and achieving the minimal carbon footprint of our raw materials.
