CMC (Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose)

Properties: CMC is soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents and harmless to human body; it has different types and grades which varying with degree of substitutions and viscosities; it has a wide range of applications; it has excellent stability for the solution viscosity changing little with extended storage time; it has excellent acid and salt resistant for its good uniformity. CMC have good property in terms of acid-resistance, emulsification and heat stability. Its water solution is transparent. Its application in liquid milk, soy milk, fruit milk, peanut milk, and acidic beverage like lactate will make the solution stable and improve mouthfeel and flaver perception. CMC is stable in the sterilization process like uht and pasteurization. The recommended application dosage is 0.3-0.5%(by weight). Applications: beverages, condiments, fluid foods, bakery products, pharmaceutical, etc.
