Delicate in form and flavour, our traditional flakes in crushed form for use in premium food manufacturing processes.
Cornish Sea Salt flakes are hand harvested from the grade A waters on the Lizard Peninsular. The geology of this coastline around the salt house gives the flakes a unique profile of over 60 trace minerals with nothing added or taken away. These minerals not only give the salt their own intense flavour but amplify and transform the flavour of the food it is with, meaning you can get away with using up to 30% less than other salts.
Formed on the surface of our brine tanks at our salt house in Cornwall, this high taste intensity fine salt flake is graded to <1.6mm and is our most successful salt in reducing sodium, whilst also providing best taste and full Cornish provenance.
