The Salins Group has existed for more than 160 years and today has 2,200 employees who work every day, in a responsible development approach, to offer high quality salt and contribute to the success of industrial customers and consumer satisfaction.
The Salins Group is one of the main European salt producers and the only pure salt producer dedicated exclusively to the production and marketing of salt.
It is also the only European player to master and implement the 3 salt production techniques - solar, evaporation and mining. It can provide salt in all its forms, raw or processed, and for all applications: human food, agriculture, pharmaceutical, chemistry, de-icing, water treatment and other industrial activities.
With this expertise, the Group's production capacity amounts to 4 million tons of salt per year, in its industrial facilities in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Slovenia, Tunisia and Senegal. . As for its logistics and commercial activity, it goes beyond the simple borders of the countries where the Group is present and has an international presence.
