diana food™ Prune juice concentrate to support digestive health

At the occasion of Vitafoods, Symrise introduces a new diana food™ prune juice concentrate with a sorbitol minimum guarantee. To investigate the health benefits of this prune juice concentrate, the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Guangdong University of Technology conducted a clinical trial, in partnership with Symrise, with 38 volunteers with functional constipation. After 2 weeks' consumption of the product, we observed a significant improvement in constipation-related quality of life, with a 68% drop in the rate of discomfort. The constipation severity score was reduced by 80%, and stool hardness was reduced by 83%. These results suggest the role of this prune juice concentrate, at a low dose of 15 ml, in supporting normal bowel function and activity, as well as improving quality of life.
