Fairoils
leads the way in the responsible and ethical production of food grade quality essential
and vegetable oils.
Our crops are grown on farms in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and
Madagascar. By uniting the efforts of small-scale growers, commercial
farms and local processing facilities, Fairoils has created an innovative
business model that has real impact. We partner with thousands of small-scale
farmers to form cooperatives which support growers and strengthen communities
in Africa. Each project is unique to the needs of its local community. We
invest in these regions, with infrastructure and programs that have a lasting
impact. In addition to this, Fairoils’ larger commercial farms on the Kenyan
Coast and The Mara further demonstrate our commitment to Africa. These
commercial farms make us true partners with local farmers, helping them grow
crops confidently on their own land, and act as a satellite hub for farming
education. This benefits everyone involved—from local growers and their
families, to the clients who share our values. This stewardship allows us to
embed ethics and quality at every stage. The result is pure, natural oils,
produced to the highest ethical standards and a brighter future for the African
communities involved.
Our factory in Athi River (Kenya) has been fully renovated in 2021 and is FSSC 22000 certified. Our warehouse in Belgium, from where we market our oils, is now IFS Global Markets Food certified. These high-standard certifications demonstrate the strong and effective quality control operated along the whole supply chain, to deliver the highest quality of natural oils to the food industry.
