“We have been in Argentina since 1956 and our multi-million dollar investment in this cutting-edge plant, underpins Firmenich long-term commitment to our customers in the region to deliver the most innovative, consumer-focused fragrance and flavour solutions in the market,” said Gilbert Ghostine, CEO Firmenich.“We are a leading player in Latin America’s perfumery and flavours market thanks to the trust and close business partnerships with the region’s most renowned local, regional and global companies” said Edson Silva, VP General Services, Finance, Controlling, Latin America. “Boosting our operating capacity is a fundamental step to helping our customers generate even more value for their consumers, at the right cost and with the right level of service.”With this new facility, Firmenich said it aims to strengthen its market leadership in fragrances. For flavours, the objective is to drive growth through the company’s Taste Modulation Platform which is claimed to reduce sugar, salt and fat while keeping an equal taste profile. Firmenich’s Tastegem sugar reduction solution is already manufactured in Argentina.Related news
