Company description

The International Aloe Science Council (IASC) is a trade association for the aloe vera products industry. Aloe growers, processors, finished goods manufacturers, marketing companies, scientists and researchers are all eligible for and comprise the membership. The common bond between this diverse group of individuals and companies is an interest in promoting Aloe vera and its use in dietary supplements, skin care products, beverages, and other products.  IASC is an industry partner and source of information for research, development and promotion of Aloe vera and associated products. 
IASC offers a certification program for aloe vera processing facilities and aloe vera products. Processors can have their facilities inspected against IASC's GMP requirements for aloe vera processors. Product manufacturers can have their raw materials and finished products evaluated against IASC's standards for quality and purity. Only products meeting these requirements are authorized to use the IASC seal, a sign of the use of quality aloe vera.
