As an engineering firm, Okawara’s aim is to develop the optimum combination of quality, safety and environmental technologies that will enhance the value of our customers’ business while also contributing to the progress of society at large.
Okawara was founded over 80 years ago in Shizuoka, one of the prime tea producing regions in Japan. The company started out supplying equipment used in tea processing such as withering rack dryers, final tea rolling machines and fermenting machines, and has since diversified. Today our products are used in a wide range of processes that feature drying technology, such as enrichment, sterilization, granulation, and incineration. The fields of industry we supply range from manufacturing (including food and drink products, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and production materials) to environmental solutions such as sludge drying, waste fluid enrichment and recycling.
