Company description

Pacifico Biolabs, founded in November 2022 in Berlin, is a meat company, making indistinguishable ‘chicken’ and other white meats using mycelium and beer brewing fermenters. We create whole-muscle products (e.g. whole ‘chicken’ breasts), that match chicken on texture, taste, and nutrition, but with a highly-sustainable process. By utilising multiple food industry side-streams, we reduce waste and production costs. Supported by $3.3 million in pre-seed funding, we're scaling our innovative technology toward commercialization, where we will sell our first product B2B as a 1-for-1 replacement for chicken breast. We have other ‘white meat’ products in our pipeline such as pork and white fish.
