Polar Glucan has tailored many commercial successful applications using extrusion and applied technology. We have been involved in several startups and adjustments of both industrial and pilot extruders. We have also made commercially beneficial patents and patent applications, which contain crucial extrusion technology. Our core expertise is oat applications. However, other cereals, faba bean, quinoa, several proteins, starches etc are included.

We are continuously testing with Luke (Natural Resources Institute Finland) new generation of extruder technology, which provides totally new applications.
