Rice Syrup Solids is a pale white powder with a slightly sweet taste. It is produced by applying an enzymatic process to dried rice starch, leaving a slightly sweet powder. It is commonly used to improve chewiness of products such as gum, bread and candies. Rice syrup solids also inhibit sugar crystallization, and help with the binding process. Our rice syrup solids are also great cryoprotectants that limit ice crystallization. This is great for frozen desserts and food. Rice syrup solids can improve mouthfeel while having a negligible impact on taste.
