Company description

The founder, Yoshitaka Ishida, first spent his time at a Kobe trading company that was involved in imports and exports to Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
After that, he went to Tianjin, China, where he worked for a shipping company, staying in Tianjin for 5 years.

From there, he moved to Taiwan due to political change. At this time Takasago Industry Co. Ltd. (Taiwan) was recruiting and he decided to work for them there.
He was very active as the person in charge of imports and exports to Southeast Asia and Japan.

Eventually, he returned to Japan at the end of the war, and on May 1, Showa 22, he founded Seikodo Ishida Shoten in Dojima 2-chome, Kita-ku, Osaka, where he started a direct import and export business for food flavors and aromatic raw materials.
