The Wild Blueberry Association of North America (WBANA Canada and WBANA USA) operates as a nonprofit organization and promotes the use as well as the consumption of wild blueberries around the world. The organization advocates for the blueberry and agricultural services industry. WBANA develops marketing and promotion strategies internationally and serves as liaison between producers, processors, governments, buyers and consumers. Further, WBANA encourages and fosters health research and provides nutritional information, recipes, membership services, and blueberry resources. The purpose of the association is primarily to promote the reputation and use of the wild low bush blueberry native to Canada and Maine,USA.
