ALTEX- AINIA's Supercritical CO2 extraction

ALTEX, our CO2 extraction plant, gives companies access to CO2 technology, especially fitted to their requirements. As a clean and effective technology, CO2 extraction permits to extract and separate a high variety of substance without the use of organic solvents, without waste generation, and without downstream operations to remove the solvent. It works at low temperatures, so it is suitable for thermolabile molecules. It is used for extraction, but also for diverse applications such as non desired substances removal (pesticides, odours, chemicals) or sterilization. 
CO2 extraction is widely used to obtain high value oils to be used as Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), food suplements, flavours or antioxidants, from seeds, berries, nuts, roots or flowes.
