Shape Sorting Devices

Apart from sorting according to size it can be necessary to sort particles according to sphericity. A very elegant way to separate perfectly round particles from others is the sorting via a BRACE vibrational sorting table. The BRACE sorting tables are e.g. used for the sorting of soldering spheres which are needed for ball grid arrays and for the sorting of spheres that are needed for photovoltaic (silicon, thin film solar cells, etc.) or nuclear fuel applications. Since BRACE sorting tables are relatively small it is possible to install many of them side by side which can either work in parallel or sort different materials at the same time.
