Gum Arabic is an odourless resin of normally hazelnut to walnut size that appears in nature in round, in the form of tears, light yellow to reddish-yellow pieces. Gum Arabic readily dissolves in cold water, is odour- and tasteless and weakly acid (pH: 4.5). Components: Gum Arabic is a complex polyscchardie that is neutral or weakly acid and contains nitrogenous material (amino acids). The contained sugar monomers in a ration of 3:3:1:1 are galactose, arabinose, rhamnose and glucoronic acid. Packaging: Jute, poly or paper bags of 25 kg or 50 kg. Application: As thickener, stabiliser, emulgator, suspension agent or foam stabiliser in - food (confectionery, beverages, dairy products, bakery products, diabetic and dietetic food, flavours) - pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry (emulsions, tablets, tablet coating, lotions, facial masks) - technical applications (adhesive, glue, inks)
