Product description
Cook-up food starches is highly functional, native or modified. It is used to provide texture and body to a variety of products. Native starches are used in powder form to absorb moisture and as fillers and bulking agents. When cooked it serves as thickeners and texturizers. Modified cook-up starches are the standard of quality for use as thickeners and stabilizers with heat, shear, acid and/or freeze-thaw stability. An excellent thickener, Cook-Up has neutral taste and controlled viscosity with body free-flowing. It is dispersible, with smooth, creamy texture and surface gloss. It is non-hygroscopic, multifunctional and versatile. Kosher certified it also complies with specifications of FCC and codex alimentarius. It is best used within 12 to 24 months from date of production, under proper storage conditions and is available in packaging bags of 25 kg (other sizes are available upon request).
