HELM and Allied Biotech partnership make possible natural crystal-clear colours
7 Nov 2023As one of the leading Carotenoid producers, Allied Biotech has successfully launched the clear colour product lines. The new products are mainly used in transparent applications. Clear colours are ideal candidates for replacement of the artificial colours as they display more bright and shiny colour shades than normal carotenoid formulations.
Allied Biotech is one of the leading carotenoid manufacturers worldwide. Carotenoids, incl. Beta-carotene, Lycopene, Apocarotenal, Lutein, etc., also exist in nature giving colours to fruits, vegetables, and flowers, for example. Allied Biotech has both synthetic and nature product lines. It has recently introduced the clear colour product portfolio, which can be used in transparent applications, such as energy drinks, transparent candies, and jellies. Of course, the clear colour portfolio can also be used in regular beverages and foods. The new products have more bright colour shades than the normal formulations on the markets. They are the ideal candidates for the replacements of artificial colours.
The clear colour portfolio consists of three main products:
- Altratene 5% WSC/CC: This is a yellow-coloured powder that contains 5% beta-carotene, which is a precursor of vitamin A and a powerful antioxidant. Beta-carotene can enhance the immune system, protect the skin and eyes, and prevent oxidative stress.
- Altratene 5%WSC-Red/CC: This is a reddish-coloured powder that contains 5% Beta-carotene. This product can provide the same benefits as Altratene 5% WSC/CC.
- Apocarotenal 5% WSC/CC: This is a reddish-coloured powder that contains 5% Apocarotenal. The colour shade is even more reddish than the red formulation of beta-carotene.
All three products are water soluble powders that can be easily dissolved in water. They are packaged in 10kg (2x 5kg) cartons and have a long shelf life 48 months. The clear colours are ideal for replacing artificial colours, as they offer more bright and shiny colour shades than conventional carotenoid formulations. Moreover, they are natural, safe, and healthy for all consumers.
Allied Biotech Corp. manufactures Beta-carotene, Lycopene, Apocarotenal, Canthaxanthin and Lutein products. The portfolios include emulsions, powders, suspensions, solutions, and the tablet grade formulations. Allied Biotech Corp. also provides customized services.
