This has led us to find a way to unlock valuable plant prebiotic fibers and make it available for functional foods and drinks, and dietary supplements. We partner with our customers in these industries to create innovative, science-based foods, beverages and dietary supplements that enable consumers to proactively improve their health, naturally. Our flagship product, BeniCaros®, is an award-winning, precision prebiotic fiber that is unlocked and extracted from upcycled carrot pomace through our proprietary process. It’s made up of Rhamnogalacturonan-I (RG-I), a uniquely structured fiber found in the cell walls of various crops. BeniCaros has been clinically proven to train the innate immune system to respond smarter and faster. It also specifically and consistently modulates the gut microbiome composition despite interpersonal differences in gut microbiome ecosystems, contributing to multiple health benefits. Its minimal daily serving size of as low as 300 mg seamlessly integrates into a wide range of products without negatively impacting taste, texture or odor. This makes it an ideal ingredient for functional food and drink and dietary supplement manufacturers looking to create innovative health improving products that meet all consumer expectations in the areas of plant-based, clinically proven and upcycled.
