25 Mar 2025Sulforaphane is the active ingredient of broccoli that makes this vegetable a superfood, as it activates the cellular defence against inflammation and oxidation. However, its synthesis and absorption is not always correct, as it is degraded before reaching the intestine or the microbiota lacks sufficient myrosinase, the enzyme that interacts with the glucosinolates from broccoli to produce it.
Sulphoraphan Smart solves this problem by creating a patented bilayer capsule that separates the glucosinolate in its core and the myrosinase in its shell. Thus, both components reach the intestine almost intact, where they are united, favouring the optimal absorption of sulforaphane and the total use of its benefits.
The result is greater nutritional efficiency, with a recommended daily dose of 100mg compared to the 300mg needed in other sulforaphane products on the market.
Furthermore, its production is highly sustainable, as it is extracted from broccoli by-products from the food industry, promoting the circular economy.
