Tapioca Fiber

One of the main components of our portfolio are our fibers. The final product benefits from the high water-binding capacity of our products and, when used, convinces with a good structure with a pleasant mouthfeel. Nevertheless, our fibers differ from each other, with each fiber bringing out its own advantages.On the one hand, we have our tapioca fiber, which is produced for our Brazilian partner FiberVita. This clean label product is derived from tapioca root and is a modern water-binding alternative. The water is absorbed as if by a sponge and held during the baking process. This gives the product an elastic structure and a pleasant mouthfeel. Tapioca fiber also scores points for its wide range of applications. Furthermore, our portfolio includes our oat beta-glucan, which we distribute for our partner Lantmännen. PromOat is a high-quality dietary fiber from oats and has a beta-glucan content of 35%. PromOat is made from locally grown and GMO-free oats in a patented, natural process. The product has many functional properties and increases health values in food and beverages. PromOat thus scores not only with its supportive emulsifying properties, but is especially popular with our customers due to the declaration of health claims according to EFSA. From a daily intake of approx. 13g PromOat per day, health claims in the area of blood sugar as well as in the area of cholesterol can be declared.Finally, our portfolio includes our Psyllium Husk Powder. This Indian product is made from the crushed seeds of the Plantago ovata plant and convinces with its unusually strong water-binding properties. When Psyllium Husk Powder is used, the product combines with the water and a silicone-like structure is formed, which simplifies the processing of the product.All fiber can be used to replace and substitute other fibers or even starches in a product.
