VITAGOS™, Galacto-Oligosaccharides (GOS)

VITAGOS™ is a sweet syrup containing GOS.  GOS (galacto-oligosaccharides) are non-digestible carbohydrates produced from lactose, the sugar naturally found in  milk. They are considered dietary fibers and/or prebiotics in many countries. 

Designed to meet the quality standards required for infant formula, VITAGOS™ is manufactured with enzymes derived from non-genetically modified sources and produced in a Canadian state-of-the art and FSSC 22000 certified facility and it is certified Halal and Kosher. VITAGOS™ has been accepted as Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) in the USA for its intended use in infant formula (VITAGOS™ GRAS notice GRN 721). VITAGOS™' clean, sweet taste has a smooth mouth feel and easily pairs with any flavour.  It has excellent stability at a wide range of temperature and pH and is highly soluble.  VITAGOS™ can easily be incorporated into a wide range of food and beverage formulations and dietary supplements.
