In response, the company will host a seminar, to be held on 26 February, to address some of the key topical issues facing the sector. These will include
Opportunities and barriers in international trade Animal feed requirements Issues in Official Control Tackling antimicrobial resistance STEC guidance Halal in the red meat sector It will also look at the latest UK and EU legislation pertaining to the sector. Campden BRI said that the seminar represents a great opportunity for manufacturers of and traders in meat and poultry products to meet and discuss areas of mutual interest.
