Coconut Cream or Milk is the only cow milk surrogate that carries the same name "milk" even though it is entirely plant based. Indeed it is white, creamy and has a rich taste. We all know that Coconut Cream and Milk cannot be "milked", so how is UHT Coconut Cream or Milk done? it is the same process as UHT cow milk but completely vegan. No animal substances involved. Fresh raw Coconut Cream or Milk is diluted with filtered water to get the desired fat content (18-24%). Then the creamy white and aromatic fluid passes a flash heat procedure to remove all spoilage micro-organisme. Gentle homogenization provides viscosity and smooth milk fluid filling into aseptic tetrapak containers or in bulk 20 liter aseptic bags or 200 liter drums.
