Product description
Willy Benecke GmbH offers a wide variety of products which includes guar gum. It is derived form the ground endosperm of the guar plant, cyanmopsis tetragonolobus, belonging to the family leguminosae. It is mainly grown in India and Pakistan during the months of july to december. Its availability and pricing are very much depending on the quality of the monsoon during this period. It forms highly viscous solutions when hydrated in cold water. It is used in foods as a thickener and binder of free water e.g. in bakeries, dairy products and ice cream, dressings and sauces, beverages and for the production of pet food.
