(Constanta, 09.05.2024) — Omnia Europe SA, a globally operating specialty Starch and Derivatives manufacturer to Food, Feed and Bioindustrial market segments, headquartered in Constanta, Romania, announces strategic investments in diversifying its product & solutions portfolio in response to the evolving market demands for plant based, nutritional, healthier and cost efficient solutions in a safe, responsible and sustainable way.
Following the commencement of construction for their Modified Waxy Food Starches production, designed with a capacity of 110K tons/year for various modification types and anticipated commissioning by Q4 2024, Omnia Europe SA shifts focus towards their next phase of expansions. The company unveils plans for phased investments in Polyols (Sorbitol, Maltitol, Mannitol) & Dextrose Monohydrate all in liquid and powder types to food and pharma applications, marking a decisive move towards bolstering its capabilities to meet industry food demands with unparalleled customer care, product quality and supply chain execution.
Chairman of the Board, Fatih Tosmur, emphasizes the company's commitment to excellence, stating, "Omnia Europe embodies our Group's unwavering dedication to exceeding industry expectations. We believe the 2 years since the company’s start-up have shown that. Our successful realization of the Modified Waxy Food Starches project underscores our relentless pursuit of excellence. We do expect to commission new investments in Q1 2026.
