Furthermore only Emsland Group offers the complete range for the production of snack-products by processing flakes, granules and starch (modified, pre-gelatinised and native starch).
Potato granules in comparison to potato flakes are not cold water soluble. Due to the gentle process we get intact potato cells. Potato granules are hot swelling containing low amount of free starch. Besides this potato granules show a robust consistency and excellent potato taste.

Potato granules are applied as hot swelling binder with:
• typical taste and flavour in application
• optimal dough performance
• light yellow or yellow colour
• good hot water binding capacity
