Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC)
Product description
The protein that does not pass the membrane during ultra-filtration is called the whey protein concentrate. This concentrate is then dried to a well dissolving powder, with protein content from 35 up to 80%. It is available in different varieties such as WPC 35, WPC 75 and WPC 80. Applications: replacement of skimmed milk powder (protein content 35%), improvement of the nutritional profile of sports-, infant- and health food, addition of structure and mouth feel of dairy formulations, like yoghurt.
